I want to bring up this topic as in my childhood, I always felt left out. When other kids were out collecting their apples and nuts and visiting the bonfires, we were stuck in the house, not answering the door or out a bible study. Now I never wanted to celebrate evil spirits or anything of the like, but I never saw the reason for us to prevented from getting involved with our local community.

So I thought this would be a good topic for discussion;

Why should we not be involved in anything related to halloween?

I think Boaly's post on http://www.networkforgod.net/general-talk/halloween-do-you-avoid-or-partake-t9.0.html

Would be a great starting point for this debate. I suggest everyone reads this post to get his take on the situation.
